The ideation process in the beginning is always the most difficult part for me; staring at a daunting white blank page. I often overlook the importance of trial and error because I see certain skills I aspire to have that seem to come so easily to other artists. I have to let go of the expectations that derive from silly comparisons and accept the notion of crumpling papers as stepping stones to finding a rhythm and style of my own.
